And I did it again! I was terribly bored and decided to try my favourites from @dragonprinceofficial, aka Rayla, Bait and Zym. ❤️

I want to talk about how significant it is for Callum to draw Rayla: As an artist myself, I can only describe choosing a muse as a kind of really special thing. It means that she occupied his heart and head at the same time and felt compelled to translate that into sight with his hands. With his time and his attention.
There’s a special kind of care and/or love that goes into drawing someone. Especially in Callum’s emotional state. To draw something means you want to know it.
“To know something truly and deeply, you must know it with your head,handandheart. Mind, body and spirit.”
I realize this was mainly for Callum and the sky arcanum, but tell me this can’t be applied to his relationship with Rayla.
Honestly, drawing another person is such an intimate thing. Darwing portraits and such can also border on uncomfortable to me, personally. You have to embrace the other’s unique characteristics, but also their every flaw. That’s what I can add to this. For this reason, this scene stood out to me as well. It’s a subtle thing, but very significant to me.
Aaravos’s key. (the key of aaravos? i can’t remember.) this thing
the thing Harrow said callum is supposed to “unlock”?? I know how he’s going to do it.
ok so im typing this super fast and i don’t have the time to grab screenshots, but Aaravos was referred to as a master of ALL the primal sources, right? and the key has symbols of all the primal sources on it.
Now that Callum has unlocked the sky arcanum, I’m willing to bet that when he holds that thing, the sky symbol will light up. maybe the dark magic symbol too…
The key belonged to Aaravos, right? and he’s a master of all the primal sources, meaning that when he holds it, ALL the symbols should light up. That’s how the key is activated. Whoever holds it has to be connected to all the primal sources (and maybe dark magic too, since there’s a dark magic symbol?)
Tl;dr: Callum will have to discover all the primal source arcanums in order to unlock Aaracos’s key (and probably unleash some insane power)

I jumped on the bangwagon and I bringed watched the two seasons… I have to say TDP is now one of my favourite series!! I’ll do some digital once I finish the BNHA asks :D
