Meet the Trooper (Blu Soldier)

So I have TF2 brainrot, so and I’ve always loved the designs of the TFClassic mercs. I’ve always headcanoned that if there was a hypothetical show or something (or in the 0.00001% I try my hand at fanfic) that the opposing team would be them.

It makes sense, allows for the use of the TFC boys, and I feel like it could make a compelling story to have two teams of completely different people.

So, I’ve decided to make character sheets for the BLU team (the tf2 mercs are RED), and have slightly redesigned them to fit this narrative. While I know that in canon, the TFC mercs are a generation older than the TF2 mercs, I would just age them more appropriately to how they appear in the CatchUp comic.

I’m taking design elements from their in game appearance, catchup comic appearance, and later comic appearances.

SO, this is The Trooper (also decided to give each class a different but similar name so that everyone doesn’t share a name with someone else. So Trooper is the same as the Soldier class).

I noticed how he has a blindfold in the later comics which I had assumed meant that he was blind, so I thought it would be an interesting trait to carry over into this compiled design. Not sure what my backstory will be for him, open to ideas, though I do know that I want him to be from Yukon, Canada.

I don’t have much of anything other than his design worked out, but I think I’ll come up with stuff as I make the rest of the crew.

Also he has a severe tan because hah hah northern boy moves to New Mexico and learns what the sun is.
