Just as a group of fish is a school, or a group of crows is a murder, groups of mercenaries also have names!
A group of medics is a Malpractice
A group of heavies is a Poot
A group of demos is a Party
A group of soldiers is a Battalion
A group of pyros is called a Huddah
A group of snipers (although rare) is called a Nest
A group of spies is called a Cloak
A group of scouts is called a Bonk
A group of engineers is called a Ranch
There are even more specific classifications for subspecies (such as the huntsman sniper) or for certain types of mercs that work in a symbiotic pack!
I miscellaneous collection of mercenaries can also be called a Fortress.
