Epoch: Wars of Unification, civil war of earthly humans with hidden intervention of warp demons.
Record: period beginning from millennium 28 to millennium 30 (starting the Great Galactic Crusade to unite all human colonies into a single Empire.)
Devastated by the war against intelligent machines, the old confederation tried to regain civil order but a new evil force awakened from the void as a dimensional tribulation that trapped and isolated the colonies worlds leaving exposed a fragile government with a shortage of supplies.
Uncommunicated and without any aid protocol, the consequences manifested themselves in the old land in a period of 5,000 years of anarchy, violence and fear that ended the lives of countless humans; Technological and scientific advances that had been recorded in building templates and databases were destroyed or erased like files burned by disputes between barbaric states.
While the famine suffered by the colonies isolated by the warp storm caused riots and social unrest that deteriorated the very order established by the old confederation, the non-aggression pacts with other alien races were dissolved as the hegemony of humanity had been weakened. to plunder and take slaves from the ruins of their cities. Even under the worst conditions many human colonies regressed to their wildest stages to withstand the end of time.
In parallel, the struggle for control of old Terra turned the planet into a barren wasteland where the Techno-barbarian Lords presented themselves as religious leaders, demagogues and sequito prophets who devastated the cradle of human civilization with chemical, biological, and even thermonuclear weapons. that boiled the seas until they were reduced to a desert of scars and small lagoons. (All marine life was destroyed in the process.)
During this period of instability and false idols, the 29th millennium arrived offering a little hope when a golden man came out of his anonymity with the title of “Emperor” before the women and men who survived in the ruins of his cities.
Ancient imperial chronicles recorded that the Emperor promised to restore the human spirit and intellect over the oppressive states of the techno-barbarian warlords by restoring order to a new Empire for Galactic humanity.
Challenged by the Emperor himself, the Techno-barbarian lords used all their troops of mechanized mutants, Psychic magicians even made a pact with the demons of chaos to obtain demonic reinforcements but all their efforts were in vain before the omnipresent vision of the Emperor; At the end of the conflict the Emperor called for the peaceful surrender of the pretentious Technobarbarians but madness invaded their minds accelerating their execution. (They were under demonic possession.)
Human perfidy concluded for the moment with the Unification Wars, leaving the new Empire as the winner, which rebuilt the genome of its inhabitants exposed to the radiation of the conflict, returning to its purest state. (Restoring humanity the appearance that the Emperor remembered when his eternal spirit incarnated in prehistory.) Fulfilling his promise the Emperor ordered a new Great Crusade to liberate the rest of human colonies from alien invasions and the hidden threat of the got damn.
