To see them come to life like this makes me really emotional!
Tommy: Hey, Billy–stop screaming, it’s me–am I Jewish?
Billy: …it’s 4 am in fucking space how are you here
Billy: I don’t fucking know. ask Grandpa
Tommy: yeah, sure. “Hey, it’s me, your least favorite grandkid! Got time to answer some really weird Judaism questions?”
Billy: He’d be delighted and you know it. I’m also like 99% certain this has come up before with him, he’s died, right?
Tommy: ok but at that point it’s an identity thing. This is like adoption? But also reincarnation? I’m—
Billy: Tommy. Tommy. Please. You’re gonna wake up Teddy.
Teddy: well I wasn’t gonna say anything but I’ve been awake this whole time.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how the Young Avengers spent a lot of time as unsupervised daft teens with superpowers, and how often team training probably devolved into absolute nonsense like this
Also this is far from perfect (still getting used to the new tablet tbh) but I’m not sure I will ever draw anything better than this bit of the original sketch:
