The Bookworm, NW11. I have been to many bookshops in the course of my time doing this Tumblr. This is the only one that has a paddling pool full of books! Bounteous stacks of children’s stories, picture books and educational reading adorn every inch of The Bookworm in Golders Green/Temple Fortune. Welcoming, knowledgeable staff are readily on hand to pick out rigorous recommendations.The shop is quite Tardis like, opening out to a huge round alcove at the back making the most delightful unexpected reading space. The rear of the shop doubles up nicely as a mini cloistered storytelling arena for toddlers twice a week.
