On this day in history: Troye finally announced his EP TRXYE on the VidCon main stage while simultaneously uploading an announcement video to his YouTube channel, changing all of his social media layouts, starting the EP preorder on his website, and causing us to, in his words, “go absolutely nuts.” Within seconds, we crashed his website and made the preordering of the EP very messy and frustrating. This night however was still one of the, if not the best night I’ve ever experienced in this fandom.
I honestly don’t even have the words to explain the pure unadulterated joy and excitement and pride that defined this night for us. It may be 365 days later, but I’m just as proud of Troye today as I was on this day last year. We’ve come a long way but the best part is that this is only the beginning.
Here’s to countless more nights full of bad gateways and amazing memories.

There’s no recess in the UK and Ireland at secondary school level, but I think Europe/parts of it might have it something similar
When I went to the US on exchange they did not have recess. Class started at 7.30AM and went straight on until lunch without stopping.
UK person here, I can’t speak for every secondary school but mine definitely had a break between the start of the day and lunch. You have two lessons, break time, third lesson, lunch, then the last two lessons before the end of the day.
How any of you are still sane? In Poland we have break EVERY 45 MIN CLASS???? EVERY SINGLE ONE????

i had the pleasure of working with @supercorpzine to raise money for the Trevor Project (more than $6000!) and i’m finally able to post the comic i contributed!
i was going through my files the other day and i found the original rough draft for this piece (under “keep reading” if you’re interested!). it’s funny to me how this comic was conceptualized almost entirely during math class… maybe if i had paid attention years ago i would understand what quantum entanglement is now.
