Wisconsin State Rep. Bob Gannon seems nice. And professional.
Minority Democrats in the state Assembly are enraged after a Republican representative made an obscene gesture toward their leader on the chamber floor.
Senate Minority Leader Peter Barca, a Kenosha Democrat, rose on Tuesday to argue with Rep. Bob Gannon over a news release Gannon issued last week complaining about Milwaukee’s homicide rate and how more homicides occur in black neighborhoods with high unemployment rates.
Gannon, a Slinger Republican, made an obscene gesture toward Barca. The minority leader looked shocked and demanded Republican leaders reprimand him. (Source: NBC15, Madison)

I guess I’d better say something before Tumblr does the unthinkable and nukes this site once and for all. I haven’t post a ton of nudes, but many blogs I follow do and they have been an irreplaceable part of the ‘middle finger’ community. I can’t in good faith continue to use this site after so many blogs I love are stripped bare. I figure I may as well leave up this blog for posterity’s sake, but after the 17th, this blog will be dead forever. Goddamn it, Tumblr. Way to fuck it up.

So as all can clearly see, this blog has fallen into complete disuse. It was created at a vey specific time in my life, and efforts to try and recreate that magic have all fallen short. It is with sorrow that I announce that this blog shall formally come to an end. I feel I have achieved what I set out to do with this site showcasing the wonderful women who aren’t afraid to flip the bird. I have found an incredible community of likeminded individuals who have continued the fight in my absence. I hope pretty girls keep flipping the bird for many years to come, and I thank you all for the support you’ve given me in the meantime.
I will of course leave up the blog for as long as Tumblr will have it. I hope it continues to bring joy to all those who find it.
I will be taking some time to get the last of my photo reserves up on the site, so I may be periodically active for the next week or so. If anyone wants to send anything in, please do so now! Comments, photos, etc., I’d love to have them all and hear from you in the final days of Pretty Girls Flipping the Bird!

To kick things off in my inaugural post, Yvonne Strahovski double flipping the bird.
And now, we say goodbye. I figured my final photo should be the one that started it all. I just want to say thanks to everyone. It all has truly been wonderful and I have loved my time here, but unfortunately all things must come to an end. To anybody that decides to stick around, I ask that you keep the tradition alive, now more than ever. Show the man what you think! Keep posting those incredible girls raising their hands high!
