Sharing some work-in-progress pics because it’s taking me FOREVER to finish this house! I’m so slow; it’s like I forgot how to build and decorate. And this is a relatively simple house! Haha. Anyway, it’s all built and decorated - I just need to do the landscaping and a little more playtesting. Since I want to go full steam ahead with this megasave, I’ll likely just post houses on the Gallery as I finish them and not do a fancy upload post here on Tumblr. However I am always happy to upload Tray files for those who want them.

BTW, this type of house is called a “Charleston single house” and is a common style found in Charleston, South Carolina. I plan on building a similar one next door, since they’re often found grouped closely together. On the smaller lot to the left, I’ll build a “Charleston cottage” which will likely be a starter. Despite my slowness, I’m having fun, and I’m very determined to keep going on this project!

Thank you so much to everyone who has left words of support and encouragement! I hope you’ll find at least some of my builds useful!
