#the essex serpent spoilers

I really enjoyed the first two episodes of The Essex Serpent. Sure, the first ep was a little slow, but I didn’t really mind it. It’s funny because I decided to watch it because of Tom Hiddleston, but Will wound up being the character I’m least interested in – and this is no insult: he’s a very interesting character. The great thing is all the characters are so interesting. 

I’m already crushing hard for both Cora and Stella (they’re both just so great). Gracie is very intriguing, as well as Cora’s son. Luke makes me… deeply uncomfortable lol, but Spencer is kind of growing on me. And Martha is a powerhouse, I love her. Also, Jo seems like such a kind soul, and I’m interested in her part in the story. 

It’s a really neat cast of characters, and I’m anxious to see where the story takes them.

Maybe it’s just me, maybe I’m just really queer, but literally everyone in the Essex serpant seems gay to me. Like Garrett and his friend? Gay vibes. Cora and her friend? Gay vibes. Fucking Will and Stella both being so excited to have Cora stay the night? Poly vibes.

Even if none of its like, (overly) sexaul, the queer vibes I’m getting are so intense and I don’t know what to make of it.
