Hahahaha okay, after saying that whole speech this apology is indeed a bit too much for her to handle (even I was like stop it my dude, she’s already done). And sure enough, she stops him:

Jokes aside, I’m completely on his side here. What he said was bit harsh but he was pushed to that point. It’s just that this whole scene was just pain left and right and I wasn’t expecting that from the drama (it’s genuinely good i swear!). I guess that if Xiao Zhan turns you down, this is the only proper reaction to have: a heartbreaking meltdown lol
In a way, it was her stubbornness and misguided dreams and hopes (all products of her imagination) what led her to this point, but to be fair, she wasn’t evil. I realize that saying she had a lot of opportunities to play dirty but never acting upon it isn’t the best defense, but it showed me that she cared deeply for Dr Gu. At most, she just let things pass and misunderstandings take place without interfering even if she knew something that could help. A shitty thing to do but not really a crime. And she actually did a couple of nice things because of him and because she knew how important was FL becoming to him.
What’s good about this is that now she can finally let him go and from her lowest point, she can only go up.
