I’m gonna take a moment to just talk about how much I fucking LOVE the subtle differences in these two pictures.
Cos, yeah, we have the obvious Harry vs Eggsy parallel, but less obvious but so cool to me are the others. The things that show shit had to be replaced after VDay.
The curtains were lacy when Harry was there, but they’re just sheer now. The deadbolts seem to have either been replaced or been cleaned up a bit based on their difference in colour. The lighting isn’t all that different, or I’d blame that, but the CURTAINS.
I also love the subtle differences in Eggsy and Harry’s choice of watch strap. Harry’s is more classic with the more obvious patterning of the leather.
I’ve read “The Secret Service” vol. 2 and it was much better than the first one. There was a great fight (it was still better in the movie), but the scene in the pub was cool. And the ending was quite unexpected and not like in the movie.
And Valentine gets to pick and choose who gets culled, does he? All his rich mates, they get to live… and anyone he thinks is worth saving, he’s keeping them safe - whether they agree with him or not. And you, Eggsy. I am inviting you to be part of the New World.
