Where’s My Sock? - A Missing Sock Set

I’ve been wanting a missing sock set for a long while. These bad bois were made with magic-bot‘s V5 & V6 feet meshes and every sock in game ( not including the knitting pack, I don’t have that one. )

Note: For the left foot/sock, the sock texture will appear on your sim’s toenails. ( If you have a purple sock, your sim will have purple nails, etc) To combat this, I reccomend using the tattoo version of magic-bot’s nail polish. You can find it here.

In-Game Camera Replacement

So, if you don’t know I made a camera mod a while ago and it was created because I assumed the issue with my previous camera mod had to do with the new first person camera being added and that some code was missing from the old mod. Come to find out that isn’t correct and I forgot to make a post with the addendum. What was actually happening was that the camera mod was adding another camera to the game and if you moved too fast, which the mod allowed you to do, it would separate the cameras causing the fuck ups.

SO here is what I did instead. I made another .ini file and replaced it with the file in the BIN folder that houses the game. I’m gonna include that here and if you want to use it, go ham. I recommend saving the original camera.ini file in case something goes wrong.

Steps:

Remove the original mod from your mods folder for the reasons stated above.
Go to :C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin\res
Copy the Camera.ini file to a secure location (I just put it on my desktop)
Paste the new file into the folder: :C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin\res

Profit

if there is an issue, simply place the original camera file back in the res folder. I am not much of a modder, so there isn’t much to it. Also, you will have to do this every time the game updates or you repair your game.

Edit April 2022: Hi! I do not recommend using this mod for your camera. It will replace the new camera that EA added in an update. The new camera has features that this mod does not. This mod will not break your game, but do keep that in mind when downloading this.

Check Up On It - A Reshade (4.7) Preset

So, I finally uploaded my CAS reshade preset. Yay! This is a pretty simple preset so there isn’t much to go on about. I do use @pictureamoebae‘s extra MXAO2P shader and Quint’s MXAO shader for some nice shadows. You can turn one or both of them off at anytime. Below are some before any after shots. Enjoy!

Bloom is connect to the 5 key on the numberpad to turn it on and off cause it’s a bit much.

Reshade 4.7 Guide ( I also recommend downloading the shaders in the guide)

Popped Tags - A T-Shirt Recolor

I have found my way back to making CC…surprisingly. You all have @softerhaze to thank for that. Now, this top was heavily inspired by thrift stores and like hand-me-down tops and because of that a lot of the graphics have a “distressed” look next to the normal swatch [see below]. There will also be a second version with slightly different graphics for male and female frames so look out for that soon.

Bob’s Loading Screen - UPDATE
