Backstage at The Tragically Hip’s #FullyCompletely Tour

Had the chance to hang backstage before The Tragically Hip show at Air Canada Centre last night! It was pretty cool to see Air Canada Centre honour The Hip for their *11th* show at the arena. Not to mention the fact that they were the first band EVER to play a show at Air Canada Centre back in 1999…holy crap! 

They also had this huuuuge cake made for the band which looked AH-MAZING. I’m not even exaggerating. As a person who loves to bake and decorate desserts, the detail on that cake was insanely impressive! The guys were SO happy to receive it too (I mean, who wouldn’t? It’s cake) and couldn’t resist snapping pics of and with the cake. Just like I did. When I thought no one was watching……………and then Gordon Downie walked by. #SorryNotSorryGord

Also have to send a huge shout out to the band for having a MASSAGE ROOM backstage?? Like, what? I’ve seen plenty of rooms and interesting signs backstage at past shows. But these guys - THESE guys are pretty much geniuses for including a massage room on tour.
