Inside @huntsmansavilerow workshop with my dear friend and bespoke connoisseur @milanstylelive. Owned by Belgian investment banker Pierre Lagrange, the house employs ten cutters who work along with several sewers and cutters. Four are the usual layers inside their jackets (canvas, horsehair, domette, padding). Imagine that a Neapolitan jacket (like the one I’m wearing in the photo) has just one light layer of canvas. Oggi la sartoria é di proprietá dell'investitore belga Pierre Lagrange, che nel suo organico conta ben dieci tagliatori e circa venti lavoranti che cuciono e “finiscono” giacche e pantaloni. Sono quattro gli strati all'interno delle loro giacche (canvas, pelo cammello, domette e ovatta per spalline).
