I’m so glad to see someone else express this view. Modern interior design always makes me think of those dystopian movies about a fascist future where feelings have been outlawed. I mean they have literally used the same aesthetic for several of those movies, and yet everyone I meet irl thinks ‘industrial kitchen meets morgue’ is the only good look.
