Thin Lizzy - Dancing in the Moonlight (It’s Caught Me in It’s Spotlight) (1977)

“When I passed you

In the doorway,

Well, you took me with a glance;

I should’ve took that last bus home

But I asked you for a dance.

Now we go steady

To the pictures -

I always get chocolate stains on my pants -

And my father, he’s going crazy,

He says I’m living in a trance;

But I’m dancing in the moonlight,

It’s caught me in its spotlight…”

1983. Another Perfect Day

is the sixth album by band Motörhead. It was released on 4 June.

Joe Petagno, the sleeve artist, commented that the cover was inspired by the upheaval prevalent in the band and its members at the time.

This was guitarist Brian Robertson’s only album with the band, apparently he didn’t fit in image wise. He was in Thin Lizzy and he makes Motorhead sounds as commercial as they ever came. After Fast Eddie left they had to try a different sound and took the opportunity to try Robbo. It worked, in the main part.

Possibly the most underrated Motörhead album ever.

Highlights:  "Dancing on Your Grave",  "I Got Mine", “One Track Mind.”, “Rock It”

          Ian Kilmister   Phil Taylor    Brian Robertson

i am completely new to the last of us fandom on here, but have you guys ever heard the song “sarah (ver 3) by thin lizzy” ???

(basically phil lynott wrote the song for his daughter, sarah)

because the lyrics are literally just joel. its almost scary how accurate it is. it even says baby girl??

the song is quite upbeat but a slow cover of this would probably kill me
