#things writers do

Anyone else’s brain do that thing where you’ve been thinking about this one scene all day long and hyping it up in your head and then when you finally sit down to write it the scene just… blurs??? Like while you’re typing the words down your mind is now squinting at the scene that had been so clear only moments before but now it’s like that one scene in Encanto where Bruno is trying to find out what Mirabel has to do and it’s just “What is it? Am I fighting or hugging?” and if you’re lucky the scene will focus, and you’ll be able to write it down but most of the time it just gets blurrier and blurrier? Anyone else’s mind do that when they write? Just me?
