reasons why usaida yoshihito is the only man ever:

-funniest mfer in the entire series, instigator of all the shit that eventually goes down

-talented seamster who puts his considerable talent towards making adorable costume for the kids

-had a rich dad but wasn’t an asshole and didn’t distance himself from his father once he lost all his money

-kindest, hardest working, most considerate man ever who spends his time helping others (i.e. spending his nights tutoring his neighbor so he can graduate high school ; v;)

-loves the kids so goddamn much!!!!! was melodramatically sick and ran to the daycare because he thought midori was in trouble

-grew up depressed, disillusioned and unmotivated but managed to get help and to find a place in the world for himself where he was finally satisfied and happy and made sure to give back to the person who helped dig him out by working at the daycare he helped found

-that age swap au chapter where older kotarou and baby ryuu came in - he made sure that the reason baby ryuu was in the daycare was because their parents were just overseas on a business trip so they could at least have that one little moment of peace EVEN IF IT WAS ONLY A DREAM which effectively ripped my heart out and killed me dead :^)
