There are morel mushrooms? In my backyard garden?

We are renovating the garden and I put down used coffee grounds and cardboard, to kill the weeds underneath and at the same time repel slugs

Apparently, this is prime real estate for morel mushrooms?

I almost stepped on them, since they were underneath the cardboard
