These botanical oracle cards by Lynn Araujo has become one of my favorite decks. Not only is it gorgeous (the art is from the portfolio of painter and botanist Pierre-Joseph Redouté), it also includes correspondences! In addition to the guide book, the cards also came with a fold-out quick guide listing the correspondences of each flower, which are also listed on the cards themselves along with an uplifting quote. The energy of this deck is loving and nurturing, its wisdom is gentle yet firm, which makes these cards ideal for dealing with matters of emotional healing.
So for my whole life, my mom has been an ultra-conservative Christian. The “thou shalt not suffer a witch to live” variety of Christian. Today, she gave me this smudge stick that she made by hand and explained all the different plants’ correspondences. I was ecstatic. However, as I’m still rather in the broom closet when it comes to my family (I don’t think they’d burn me, but…) I was unsure what level of “I am SO into this” to display. I would love to share my craft with my mother. And I’m so excited that she seems to be getting into it as well.
