Thrift items are pieces of CC I’ve made/converted that I have given up on and never released. however, they all still function and show up properly!! Because it’s an item I’ve given up on, you have my FULL permission to do whatever with the mesh! recolor w/ mesh included, use it as a base for your own mesh, etc…JUST DONT PAYWALL IT!!! if you make it into something better, let others enjoy it for free!!!
How To Join?
If you’re a CC creator, I’m certain you have some CC pieces that you’ve either never finished, never liked, or have made randomly and can’t fit it with any of your CC packs to release. This is why this is for you!
If you relate to any of the above and have old pieces you’ve created and are just lying around on your desktop in a random “WIP folder,” why not just … thrift it?? we all know what thrifting is! one mans trash is another mans treasure!
So… How Will It Work?
simple!
you could either send me your old pieces of CC and I can put them all up for DL on my website [thrifting section coming soon!], or you can upload it yourself and tag it #LustrousimsThriftShopCC so that everyone can find it under the same name! I will then link back to your post from my website as well so everyone can access your thrifted CC as well!!
All of my thrifted CC will be available for free download, and I hope everyone else that chooses to thrift will ALSO make things available for free, but that is up to your discretion! I just want everyone to enjoy everything together.
also, I stated above - if someone chooses to ALTER THE THRIFTED CC PIECE, IF PUT UP FOR DOWNLOAD IT MUST BE FREE!!!!! because 1. the base is not yours and 2. don't kill the vibe!!!! everyone should have access to the free thrifted CC please!!!!

Who Can Participate?
any CC creator who wants to!!! this is just for fun and also so someone else can enjoy something you don’t! send me a DM if you’re interested in joining! I’m personally very excited for this and already have 8 pieces lined up that I’ve made but never released.
Morale is dwindling— anons are still being dicks— the fandom needs a little positivity boost and I wanted to try and bring people together again with the help of the lovely Alice @maladaptivexxdaydreaming
The aim is to create a wave of promotion throughout the fandom over a week’s period to try and champion other writers, potentially earn you new readers/fans/friends or help you stumble across a writer you may not have found before!

To sign up, please fill out the Google Form here and answer all of the questions listed. Which include (but not limited to): your preferred actor, your favourite tropes/kinks, if you are interested in dark fics and any triggers/squicks you may have.
We will then pair you up with another blog and you can read up to seven of their fics over the course of the week. The minimum amount is three fics over the week as I know time is limited for some.
Your blog will also be assigned to someone else so they can read your work and get promoted too!
This is limited to CE/SS fandoms/characters only, sorry.
All participants must be over the age of 18. We will be checking every blog upon sign up for an indication of age— if there is no clear sign, then your application will be dismissed.
