The door of your apartment slams, harder than you intended it to, and you turn to face it, resting your forehead against the wood and closing your eyes. A sharp exhale escapes your lips and you sigh.
“Worst. Day. Ever.” You turn again, leaning against it, your eyes scanning for the only person you’ve wanted to see all day. You take a moment and listen as you hear the shower. Your feet move towards the sound of the faucet squeaking as it shuts off.
