Gay billionaire inventor Tom Swift is thrust into a world of sci-fi conspiracy and unexplained phenomena after the shocking disappearance of his father. Tom takes to the road on a quest to unravel the truth, leaving behind the comforts of his usual moneyed lifestyle, all while fighting to stay one step ahead of an Illuminati-scale group that’s hellbent on stopping him. Tom’s missions will require his genius and flair for innovation guided by love, romance, friendship and the mysteries of the universe yet unsolved.

• Tian Richards (Dumplin’) as Tom Swift, a Black, gay, billionaire inventor (Richards) who is thrust into a world of sci-fi conspiracy and unexplained phenomena after the shocking disappearance of his father. 
• Ashleigh Murray (Riverdale) as Zenzi Fullerton, who is efficient and effervescent but nobody’s fool. She’s been Tom’s best friend since childhood and considers him family – and she’s one of the few people who can keep up with Tom and read him for filth when necessary.
• Marquise Vilsón (Blindspot) as Isaac Vega, Tom’s bodyguard – trans, pansexual and a consummate badass. His simmering feelings for Tom will never get in the way of his duty and loyalty.
• LeVar Burton (Reading Rainbow) voices Barclay. Created by the young genius when Tom was eight years old, Barclay has been by his side ever since — nimbly transferring himself to Tom’s smartwatch, his tablet, his laptop and even the screens of his car to offer astute encouragement and lightning-fast analysis. He’s Tom’s Hype Man, Tom’s confidante, and Tom’s friend — with a surprising depth of emotion and a journey of his own to take. Not pictured above.
• Albert Mwangi (Bump) as Rowan. A member of the security detail for a Congressman in Tom’s orbit, Rowan’s steely demeanor hides his mysterious past – and his star-crossed interest in Tom.
• April Parker Jones (Supergirl) as Lorraine Swift, Tom’s mother. Debutante royalty with a kind heart. Her relationship with Tom is close and loving until the aftermath of his father’s disappearance begins to drive a wedge between them.
• Ward Horton (The Gilded Age) as CongressmanNathan Eskol, in a major recurring role, who is a self-assured, charismatic, shrewd powerbroker and longtime friend of the Swift family. He’s a respected and progressive politician with a hidden agenda that will complicate Tom’s life.
