I know Galadriel giving the Fellowship supplies is something she does because they’re on a quest and need that kind of thing, but I think there’s room for a crack au where that’s just. Something she does. Everybody she loves leaves Lothlorien with warm cloaks for the travel and a Tupperware full of lembas and also maybe some gifts she has lying around
Tolkien really wrote a very long and influential 3-part work of high fantasy literature seven decades ago with the central message being that small nervous curly-haired cottagecore guys are valid. I really appreciate it
So I just found these again… Ever since I was 12 I wanted to make a handwritten illustrated edition of the Red Book of Westmarch and I did start making one a few years ago but the halved A4 pages are just too small for binding and margin so I stopped. But the urge is strong to get me some larger nicely marbled paper and start over.
