Based on video game cut-ins like from Disgaea (original influence but didn’t actually use), Tales of series (most similar to) and Fire Emblem Heroes. This is actually a really cool exercise to do which I’d like to do again in the future (though maybe not another 18 at once). And I don’t want to draw another face for like a week.
