I don’t know if this is any good but I finished it so figured I’d post it.

“Hey,” he said. His voice was warm and kind, and it roused Beca from sleep. “I made breakfast.”
Beca blinked awake, a hand coming up to rub at the headache that was constantly pushing at the backs of her eyes.
“It’s going to get cold,” he said. He pulled back the sheet of their bed and held out a hand for her to take. He was smiling, but that did nothing to comfort Beca.
