It seems like the fandomwide consensus is that Poppy is oblivious as heck and takes forever to realize she’s in love with Branch. So, combining this with my demiromantic Poppy headcanon, I’m just gonna say: Headcanon that the reason Poppy takes so long to realize she’s got the romantic feels is because she has a hard time distinguishing between romantic and platonic love in general, and she usually doesn’t much care to try and figure that out because she values them both equally.
