Shoutout to my TTTE AU that never bore fruit.
(Did a redraw of a manga panel but it’s Bertie and Trevor.)
I made a TTTE x YKK AU and the basis of it was that:
- Global warming did it’s job and approx 10% of Sodor is submerged in water and the engines up coast have to move inland and also aftermath of nuclear warfare. Humanity is declining.
- The engines are robots that never age, only the humans slowly grow older as humanity starts to decline.
- The engines still physically have jobs to maintain, but the days are quieter and the engines have more time to themselves.
- (Engines will rebuild the earth. Maybe I havent decided yet.)
