For an uncanny amount of time after arriving in the UK, I assumed he was some kind of celebrity for some reason. I was absolutely gobsmacked to find out he was a real actual politician.
Plus; also referred to the investigation of historical sex abuse as ‘spaffing money up the wall’
Kind of uncomfortable with Jared Leto being a meme despite the intense sexual assault allegations that periodically crop up about him sleeping with underage fans etc. I hope if any of his victims come forward or file suit (even anonymously) it will be taken more seriously but there seem to be half a dozen new articles about it even in 2022
