Watching Twelfth Night is going to make me have weird Olivia and Cesario/Viola dreams… again.  This might be my OTP…  Even so quickly may one catch the plague?

Now kiss, damnit.

Malvolio is everyone’s favorite punching bag.  Yellow stocking-wearing Puritan jerk.

In other news: “fadge” is a wonderful word.  Everyone should use the word “fadge.”  

So, in honor of my insane love for “Twelfth Night” and my mad respect for both the play and the film version directed by Trevor Nunn, I present for your drinking pleasure, the “Twelfth Night” Drinking Game.

I may be playing this right now, so posting this seems like an excellent idea.  

1.  Drink during any version of “O Mistress mine.”

2.  Drink anytime Viola applies or takes off her mustache.

3.  Take a drink anytime someone falls overboard in the opening sequence.

4.  Drink as long as Sebastian and Viola are underwater.

5.  Anytime the war is mentioned, the group must do “no nose goes” and the last one to touch their nose must drink.  If drinking alone, just take a drink.

6.  Take a drink anytime Orsino is angsty.  Take another drink if he is lounging dramatically.

7.  Drink anytime Viola intentionally tries to do something “manly” and can’t make it quite work.

8.  In that same vein, take a drink anytime someone mentions that Cesario is kind of feminine.

9.  Take a big drink anytime Orsino and Viola lock eyes and bond.  Waterfall through the scene where Feste sings for them.

10.  Drink when Malvolio decides to wear yellow stockings.  Drink again when he actually wears them. 

11.  Drink anytime Sir Toby and Andrew Aguecheek are drinking or someone mentions that they are/have been drinking.

12.  Drink whenever someone is crying.

13.  Take a big drink during any moment with some homosexual tension (Cesario/Orsino, Sebastian/Antonio, Olivia/Viola)

14.  Drink whenever the fool says something particularly insightful about the characters.

15.  Drink at the big reveal!  

Feel free to add your own rules or modify mine.  This is by no means a complete list of everything possible!
