Prologue
You sighed in relief as the final piece of paper was placed onto your desk.
Finally, you had completed every necessary form in order to apply for the new opening. The opening being manager to the resident host club of your high school.
You desperately needed job experience for your walk in life, and what better one than a job at your school?
It pays well and it fits in your schedule. It also isn’t your typical 9-5 boring job. You’re sure you’ll have fun! You hope.
Walking down the corridor. You open the doors to an old music room, a room you were quite unfamiliar with, seeing as you were not a guest of the host club.
Upon opening the doors, you’re less than surprised to see tons of girls gathered at the entrance, applying for the position as well you assume.
You attempt to push your way through the sea of girls, getting to a main counter placed in the front of the room.
“Hello!” A girl greets you, “Name and requested host?”
“Oh no,” You say, showing your papers. “I’m here about the manager position.”
The girls face lights up, “Oh hi! Yes, take a seat and I’ll be right with you!”
You smile and do as she said, watching the other girls filter to the back of the room, where you assume the host boys were.
Of course you knew them, it’d be a lie to say you didn’t. Sure, maybe you even thought a few of them were cute. But you thought paying for some high school boys time was a little odd. Why not just try to be friends with them?
Whatever, you weren’t one to judge. To each their own.
Your thoughts are interrupted as a boy comes by and grabs your attention.
“You’re here about the position right?” He asks.
You nod and he reaches his hand out for a handshake.
“I’m Heeseung, I’m the coordinator. I’ll be conducting your interview.” He smiles, gesturing for you to follow him into another room.
You get up and watch as the handsome boy guides you. He must be an underclassmen, you’d never seen him before.
He places a clip board in front of you as he adjusts his glasses. You sitting across from him.
“I’m gonna be honest,” He starts. “This is my first time holding an interview. All I do is pay bills and handle finance to be honest.”
You smile, “Don’t worry! Every other interview I’ve had is just middle aged men asking me if i can fry chicken.”
“Well..” He laughs, “Can you?”
“Nope”
You two share a moment before he calms and looks at his clipboard again, clearly less nervous than he was before.
“So, I have to clarify, due to policy, previous guests to the host club can’t be considered for this position. However, I don’t see your name on the registration so we’re good there.”
You nod your head, understanding why a rule would be in such place. Girls could be applying without intent to do the job, but instead to get closer to the boys.
“Do you have any job experience?”
“Um, well I used to babysit around my neighborhood.“
“Ok good; this job won’t be much different.”
You giggle, glad he can see the humor in this.
A few more questions later and Heeseung’s impressed.
You were a good student who just happened upon some free time, and you clearly had drive and ambition to make money instead of lazing around.
He’d definitely put in a good word for you.
“Thank you so much for coming by, we haven’t had many.. uh.. qualified candidates. You should hear back from us in less than a week.” Although Heeseung knew, compared to many others, you had been the best one.
“No problem!” You smile. You’re about to make your way out when you’re stopped.
“Well hello, I haven’t seen you around before.” A boy smiles, leaning down to make eye contact with you, as he was quite tall. His outfit was standard uniform, although something about him stood out. He was surely a host, you could easily tell.
“Hi, and You are?” You speak, sticking your hand out to greet him.
Dejected, the boy just stares at it. “Wh-what?”
“Your name..?” You start, sure you knew about the boys, but not much about them. Including their names.
“Yeonjun.” He says, “But I’m sure you’ll learn eventually.” He winks and makes his way off.
You just watch him walk away, taken aback by the whole encounter.
“That was a test,” The girl at the front counter speaks. “But you passed!” 
“You were able to stay calm as our most sought out host talked to you..” She explains upon seeing your confused face.
“Sorry,” Heeseung starts; “Yoon wanted to be absolutely sure you weren’t a fan or something.” He gestures towards the girl.
“Oh, uh. Am I okay to leave now?” You ask, they surely had an interesting way of running things here.
“Yeah! Sorry!” Yoon apologizes as Heeseung nods.

It’s about three days until you hear back from them.
You’re already half way giving up hope when Yoon approaches you during lunch.
“Mind if I sit?” She speaks, seeing you at the picnic table.
“Go ahead.” You nod, smiling.
“Guess what?”
You’re a bit taken aback by the statement, “What?”
“The job is yours.” She squeals, sporting the biggest smile you’ve surely ever seen.
You’re elated, finally, something had gone right.
“Well, when can I start?” You ask.
“Monday! The sooner the better, seeing as the boys are manager-less right now.”
“That’d be great actually.” You smile.

- The most unlikely member of the club, Choi Soobin, is dead set on getting out. The loss of the old manager was a hard hit to him. However, riddled with money loss. he has no choice. Your addition to the club though, might change everything.
withYeonjun
- Cunning, intelligent, handsome, and quite a bit cocky, Choi Yeonjun is a force to be reckoned with. He’s only here in an attempt to obtain a wife so he can take his father’s place as CEO soon. Too bad you come around to throw a wrench in his plans.
withBeomgyu
- Forced into this by his best friend, Choi Beomgyu couldn’t care less what these girls think of him. Often times the most difficult member, as he’s choosy in who he spends his time with. He doesn’t mind spending it with you though.
withTaehyun
- Founder and sole creator of the club, Kang Taehyun has little time for anything else on his hands. But with his future creeping up on him, he’s stuck in a gaping hole of uncertainty. That is, until he met you.
withHueningkai
- Newest (& youngest) member, he’s barely getting used to the mechanics of talking with girls. Seeing him getting the least requests again, you step up and offer your teachings in the ways of flirting.
