10 years ago today I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Over those 10 years one of the most difficult things that I’ve had to deal with as being a type 1 hasn’t been the multiple blood sugar checks or the 4+ needles I inject myself with daily - it’s been dealing with all of the misconceptions and misunderstanding about Type 1 Diabetes.
