Together we donated $42,000 for IFAW!!

The Tower - Scarlet Briar

Super excited to show you all the full piece I did for the @gw2collective Tyrian Tarot project! This project was officially sponsored by @guildwars2 , and all done for charity. It was an amazing success, and I am extremely proud and honoured to have been a part of it.

I really felt that Scarlet symbolises the Tower as the embodiment of disruption and conflict. Hers is a tragic story of doomed ambition and destruction, as her yearning to be free of the Pale Tree inevitably led to her mind being twisted by Mordremoth. 

Behind her is Omad’s machine, the catalyst for her abrupt traumatic change as it “freed” her mind from the Pale Tree. Her expression reflects the realisation that her desire for freedom has driven her into worse subservience than she could have ever feared.

“It keeps calling me. I am trying not to sleep. Too scared to even close my eyes. So scared. Whispers come from the forest all night long, calling me, taunting me. Possessing me.

Tonight I stared at the abyss, and it stared back at me. So much power. I don’t know what’s real and what isn’t anymore.

Control of my world, of myself, is slipping through my hands, and yet… I am no longer scared.”

Trahearne as the Hanged Man for Tyrian Tarot, an awesome project put together by the lovely people of @gw2collective! I really wish I could have spent more time with my favourite salad man, but still pretty happy with how this came out.

Wild Card Skimmer

Second card for @gw2collective‘s Tyrian Tarot! This time it’s my absolutely favourite mount, the one and only skimmer <3 Nothing beats gliding over water and admiring the landscapes!

Queen of Swords - Sayeh al’ Rajihd

One of the cards I painted for @gw2collective‘s Tyrian Tarot. Was great to be able to participate in this project! I had fun figuring out my own spin on the symbolism of this card - and I just love the Largos’ aesthetics <3 Sayeh is definitely one of my favourite characters as well.
