At mid day on the coming Monday, Big Ben will ring out the hour for the final time until 2021. This is a measure being taken to protect the people working within Elizabeth Tower from hearing damage as they carry out essential repairs and restoration work. I’ll be out on Monday to hear the final ring and I hope many more will join in
