As I was programming my fics for the week, I noticed I have SO MANY drafts kept (cuz I’m a hoarder, hi) and some of them are from fics that I didn’t feel like posting or didn’t know how to finish etc.

I don’t want to delete them because I am, in fact, a hoarder so I was thinking: what if I post them as drafts?

Like what if I do a draft reveal? Would you like that?

Let me know if you do, because ideas just pop into my head and I don’t know if it’s too much bullshit or not. LOL.

So yeah, let me know if you’re interested. :)

writerlydays:

so I would love (love love) to make a sort of directory of writers (of all kinds, published and unpublished).

Just sort of a list to help writers find each other a little easier.

So anyway, i’m doing that, but i’m not going to put anyone on it without their permission.

If you want to be on the list, reblog this (or message me)  and I’ll put you on it!

This is an illustration of the tarot card Nine of Swords.

From Wikipedia: “If this card is shown in an upright position, it can mean deception, premonitions and bad dreams, suffering and depression, cruelty, disappointment, violence, loss and scandal. However, all of these may be overcome through faith and calculated inaction. This is the card of the martyr and with it comes new life out of suffering.

If the card is shown in an ill-dignified or reversed manner then it has a different meaning. When turned this way it means distrust, suspicion, despair, misery or malice. Total isolation away from comfort and help: institutionalization, suicide, imprisonment and isolation.”

“From Death Comes Life”
9"x12" Ink on Bristol
Original $150

So many people think of vultures and see only death; however, they are an important part of the ecosystem, and a wonderful, vibrant life themselves. I have always loved these birds, and a chance to draw one for this month was welcomed with open arms.

“As Little Red Riding Hood walked through the trees, she began to feel like she was being followed, but it was probably nothing. She kept on her way, but dark shadows in the woods began to play tricks on her, and every little sound made her jump. Her heart began to pound, and the fear was taking over her. She thought she heard a snarl, just behind her…”

I knew from the start, I wanted to call this one “Channeling” bc she is communicating telepathically with both her friend and the earth with the aid of these orbs that speckle the landscape of this world. Then I found this quote that I thought fit it beautifully. “Channeling is a natural form of communication between humans and angelic beings, nature spirits, non-physical entities, or even animals and pets. This is my latest watercolor based on that idea.”

This is watercolor and is 7" x 11.5"

She respects these creatures. She sees a certain beauty in them, but their murderous ways have brought them too close to her village, they have overstepped their bounds and what needs to happen is unfortunate, but necessary.

“Gryphon’s Rise”

Priscilla Kim

A wraparound cover for the first in a theoretical YA series about an order of gryphon riders.

Done mostly because the image popped into my head and I really wanted to do something that would make my twelve-year-old self scream in glee.

“The Muse loves you, but she’s nobody’s fool and she’s tired of waiting for you to get started…”

I painted this for a group project last year.  The project didn’t quite come together, but the piece is one of my favorites from 2016.
