ok sorry I’m going to continue ranting about water ecology. the other annoying ignorant thing was when the guy caught the biggest asian carp caught in Chicago at a park. And people were like “this is so evil and cruel people are so violent against the earth” and would not listen to the people pointing out that we’re currently like. constantly on high alert for an Asian carp to breach the lakes. and were being all hippy “there’s room for everyone” as if there weren’t already two massive die offs in the lakes caused by introduced fish alone. Much less die offs caused by diseases, mollusks, pollutants,—
