Wow, watching VKC was…an experience. But THORES is an amazing character designer, and Renaissance/Catholic aesthetics is…seriously my ultimate weakness. 

I thought it would be cool to try rendering Hiraga like a Renaissance drawing. Lately, I’ve been motivated to improve on different media and drawing outside my comfort zone. This piece is essentially a re-imagined Tenax Vitae by Rinaldo Carnielo, who is known for his macabre works. I thought it was way too appropriate. I’ll draw a matching Roberto pic once my schedule clears up sob
