Hey guys! The other day I saw Clemencia design by @qtarts and I loved it and I had to draw her. Demencia is my 2nd favorite Villainous’ character, and this AU was pretty funny. Hope you like it!!!

– Dr. Flug talks to his hero about a bad day, a bad luck and a bad breakup

Dr. Flug left the H33D prison facility a long time ago, about a few months ago to be precise, yet his heart didn’t. Although being a villain gave him all the more excuses to pretend, to hide, to not have feelings for Cecilia and his past, Dr. Flug knew he was still human in that sense since the day he didn’t find the courage to kill his creation, his dear son, 5.0.5.
Demencia noticed it, after all, she witnessed the whole ordeal from start to finish, yet, she didn’t say a word, that was how she showed somewhat empathy for him. She knew if she said anything she would only make him remember something he doesn’t want to, and bring Black Hat’s attention to this, which would lead to severe consequences.
What ended up doing was more practical, as soon as she and Dr. Flug finished a mission, she told Black Hat they were going out for pizza, seeing that Black Hat would allow anything to get Demencia out of the manor.
In the end, Demencia stayed in the pizzeria with some friends, while Dr. Flug drove off in the night to get some air and alone time until he waited for Demencia to finish partying with her companions.
That’s why the young hero found him alone, eating lasagna from an Italian restaurant drive-thru, in a parking lot, while sitting atop of the car, seemingly and devastatingly depressed.
“Hello. I am not sure if I am allowed to stay here, after all, the whole dynamic of hero versus villain is complicated.” Johnny, otherwise known as Blaze Punch, wasn’t quite like our typical heroes.
“If you came here hoping I would pity you because of the tragedy of the loss of a supposed "hero”, and tell you what I know about P.E.A.C.E., I am just giving you the heads-up that you will leave empty-handed.“ Doctor didn’t even spare Johnny a glance, he knew his voice from the constant bickering and competition that went on between the two of them. They were like Megamind and Metroman, except for the misspellings and eccentricities, plus the informality and muscle mass.
"Pardon me, I came here because I was passing by, you know… Dropped out of work, came here with a bag of dark chocolate pastries and black coffee, and was reading a very interesting article. Thought it would be interesting for you to take a look at it.” He said, flying briefly to the top of the car since no one was watching, and as soon as he sat beside him, he handed the newspaper.
In the article, the pictures of a kiss he knew all too well, plus the ones of all time in his student life that he thought he had burned to ashes.
At this point, tears were threatening to spill into his googles and blur the images that were causing such overbearing pain to his mental health. Yet, he remained quiet and emotionless, all he offered was a sigh of fatigue.
“Where did you find this?”
“Phil,” Flug answered his own question alongside him, after all, you didn’t need to be a genius to figure out it was the guy investigating everything he was supposed not to put his nose in. It didn’t matter if it was against the authorities, and that’s why Johnny was now talking to him.“ even if he doesn’t pick up stuff about the organization, he does investigate a lot about P.E.A.C.E., and now, Miss Heed.”
“What can I get you for you to forget this shit and make him not publish this?” The last thing Flug needed was to give the World a confirmation of his feelings and his past, that’s why he was more than willing to pay the price.
“He isn’t going to publish it, if that’s your concern… This is the only article he has, and it’s not going to the blog either.” He said, letting Dr. Flug have the paper, which only confused him.
“Why are you doing this..? Wouldn’t this prove you are better? I mean! This is your ammunition! A greater hero proving I could never be a greater villain! Isn’t that what you want, oh so great hero Blaze Punch?!” He was confused, so lost he didn’t sense he was sobbing already, that little raindrops were beginning to fall, and that Johnny held his jacket up to cover him and his food.
“Hey! Calm down!” Johnny seemed to bring him back to reality along with the sound of the rain hitting the car and the jacket. “Let’s get you inside the car first, okay?”
Flug didn’t seem to have much of a choice since it was quickly turning into heavy rain, so he allowed Johnny to help him, getting in the car while Johnny took the food inside and for on the passager seat, taking in a moment to breathe, and examine his emotions.
“The real reason I came here… Was because I could just continue to walk and ignore that you look rather miserable. And I genuinely know, you have no one to talk to about this… So could you stop overthinking for me a second and let it out?” Johnny was facing him while whipping his silent tears away, waiting so Dr. Flug could lash out at him and tell him to buzz off.
“I can’t forget about Cecilia… I want to. But I can’t. Every time I feel like I am back to the day she betrayed me to become a hero and it stings. And the only person I can talk to is a hero, and it stings more than if you had just struck me with one of your bolts of lightning!!!” He didn’t tell him to leave.
And so Johnny stayed, he listened to every word, gave him a shoulder to cry and his whole attention. Both men ignored everyone and everything, as the raindrops fell and the phone went off, missing almost 50 calls from Demencia as the talking went on.
He even liked the hero’s gentle and polite words, small hand brushes, and the way he whipped his tears and left him with his jacket and a hug.
Maybe it was just pure pity on Dr. Flug’s eyes, but the fact that the hero listened begged the question. Would he have listened to anyone as he listened to him? Bother listening to someone he didn’t care for? Flug seemed to never find the answer to that question.
