Imagine your first kiss with Vladimir (Vladimir x Reader)

It was dark and the dead of night. You did feel slightly uneasy, going to an isolated, tall house, in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by trees, in the middle of the night. You’re eyes locked onto the two warm, yellow lights on the porch. Lighting the stairs to the porch. It was odd how at home you felt under the lights. You didn’t expect to make it to the door to knock but was surprised when you were still alone and knocking the door. You took a few steps back.

“(Y/N).”

You turned to see Vladimir leaning against the wooden post of the porch.

“How did you…”

Vladimir gestured to above. “I climbed out the window.”

“woah, I didn’t even hear you land.”

Vladimir smirked for a moment before it was gone. “What are you doing here?”

“Honestly?” You shook your head. “I don’t know. I’ve been wandering.”

“You’ve wandered out of the country.” Vladimir smirked slightly. “Is something wrong?”

“No… everything is fine but I think something has changed about me.” Vladimir continued to listen. “It doesn’t feel like home anymore, so I’ve just been…roaming really.” You moved closer. “That’s very dangerous, you’re vulnerable… defenceless.” Vladimir stated. “I’m lonely.” You crossed your arms standing beside him, almost touching. Vladimir was silent, looking down at his shoes. “I need to tell you something.” He said suddenly. “Go on…”

“I believe Stefan told you I was fond of you.” He began.

“yeah, he said you really liked me for a human.” You nodded.

“It’s much more than that.” He paused again. “I’m very fond of you, more than I should be. Do you understand?”

“I’m not sure.”

“I mean, you’ve caught my attention and have done so for a while. I have no interest in being your friend because I want you to be something completely different. I’m much more fond of you than any friend should be, which is why I can’t be your friend.” You took a moment to register what Vladimir had just said. “Oh…”

“I’d watch how you hold yourself around me.” Vladimir said quietly, his hand gripping the material of your hoodie at your stomach. You tilted your head in confusion and Vladimir spoke again. “You’re leaning into me, looking up at me.” He said softly. “I’m giving you a choice here. I may have told you my feelings but you can still walk away from this…and if you intend to walk away, then leaning up to me really isn’t fair.” He finished weakly, as though holding himself back. “But I’m not walking away.” You took his arm. He was stiff, he didn’t move, like a statue. His expression was unreadable. You couldn’t stop yourself as you leaned in. A million thoughts rushed through your head when your lips pressed against his and none were coherent before washing away in an instant.  The kiss was slow and after a few moments picked up before Vladimir pulled back, holding you at arms length. “Wait, wait, wait, you haven’t answered me. You haven’t answered me. Let me tell you now love, if it’s a rejection…those kisses are very verycruel.”

“You really, need the assurance? I thought it was obvious.” You grinned. “I’m honored.”

“You accept?” He asked bewildered.

“I accept and return.”
