One of her arms rests on her knee and the other hand on her calf. She is dressed in an orange jumpsuit with the sleeves rolled up. To her right, and with her back to the viewer, sits Lovelace. She is leaning back on one of her arms, while on her other hand she holds a handful of playing cards. Lovelace is a black woman who is wearing the same jumpsuit as Minkowski, but she has taken the top half off and tied it around her waist. Underneath she is wearing a sleeveless grey shirt. Her hair is dark and curly, the left side of it shaved, and the rest tied back in a ponytail.
The box of the game they are playing lies on the ground next to Lovelace, a few stacks of cards and an instruction manual scattered in and around it.
