For Wanda Maximoff x Sister!Reader, could you maybe do one where the Reader is stressed and overwhelmed with college work and Wanda has to coax her into taking a break please??

A/N: This was my first time writing for Wanda and I really enjoyed it! Hope you like!

Warnings: Stress, burnout

You didn’t realize being a college freshman on top of being an Avenger would be too stressful for you. Your sister had warned you against it but being stubborn, you wanted to prove her wrong. Now, as you were sitting in your room buried under homework, you were beginning to regret it.

Wanda hadn’t seen you for nearly two days since you got back from the latest mission. You had been gone for three days and since you returned, you were hiding out in your room. You said you were just catching up on sleep but during the night, she had come into your room and saw you asleep on top of your textbooks and notebooks. She didn’t want to bring it up but she also didn’t like seeing you suffer in silence.

You didn’t come down for breakfast so she decided to bring you some cereal. She walked through the compound and up to your room, knocking on the door, “Y/n, I brought you some breakfast if you’re hungry.”

You only grunted in response, not giving Wanda any idea of if you wanted it or not. She decided against her best judgment to go into your room and see what you were up to. When she entered your room, you were on your bed, practically pulling your hair out of your head.

“What’s going on?” Wanda asked, setting the bowl on your dresser and going over to you. She crouched down next to your desk so she was more level with you. She could tell you had been crying for a long time.

“You were right,” you sobbed, turning to face her and burying your face in your hands, “I can’t do it. It’s too much.”

“Calm down,” Wanda said, moving her hand to your back and rubbing circles, hoping to ease some of your stress, “Is it school?” she asked.

You nodded, wrapping your arms around your sister’s neck and hugging her tight, “I shouldn’t have tried to do it. I should have listened to you Wanda.”

“It’s okay,” she said softly, “Just take a short break for a bit and come back to it.”

You shook your head, pulling away from her, “I can’t,” you snapped, “I got myself into this and I have to finish. I don’t want to fail school.”

“You won’t if you take just a short little break,” Wanda said, trying to make the idea more appealing. Ever since you were little, you had always wanted to finish things through, even if it was at the expense of your well being.

“No I can’t. It all has to get done before my next mission,” you said.

“Y/n,” Wanda said softly, moving her hand from your back to the side of your face. She was about to use her powers to help you relax but you pulled away from her quickly.

“Don’t do that,” you said harshly.

“I just want to help you,” Wanda said, sitting down on the floor, “If you don’t want a break, I’m sure there are some people here who would be willing to help you with your homework. Maybe Tony or Bruce would be a good place to start?”

“You think they would help?” you asked, looking at her.

She nodded, “I think so,” she said, standing up from the ground and holding out her hand for you, “We can go ask them now. Or you can take a break and come back to it.”

“You’re going to make me take a break no matter what, right?”

Wanda nodded and grabbed your hand, not giving you a chance to protest.
