My converted nurgle marines are coming out of their lair. For those who are interested I will soon be posting a video that will talk briefly about the difficulties I have had with this project and some techniques that can help with these kinds of problems.

The 3rd and last flying machine pf the mechanicus. On this one, contrary to the second one, I tried to put a more symmetrical aesthetic on the rear and the wings to emphasize them.
2nd archaeopter painted by me. I really wanted to bring an asymmetrical look.
What do you think of this one ??
To continue with the Mechanicus. Who has ever painted a stratoraptor archeopter? These impressive and imposing vehicles are one of the flying gems of our mechanic friends.
Placing the wings was for me the most complicated part, quickly replaced by the joy of painting them.
The mechanicus has always been very interesting to paint .
Varied textures, patterns and an iconic aesthetic. The pteraxiis sterylizors are no exception to the rule!
I had a lot of fun on this project and highly recommend to all mechanicus players to look in the direction of these models.

I know I’ve mentioned it in the past, but I’m back into Warhammer! Since late February I’ve been building and painting like crazy, and one of my favorite parts of my collection is my Legio Custodes force! I still have a few more models to build and paint, but soon the model count for them will be well over 100! I’ve always loved the Custodes so I’ve gone crazy for building plenty of them. Every new release for them means me adding more and more to my ever growing setup.
I need to use a real camera for my models sometime soon though; my phone’s camera just washes all of the detail and highlights out so harshly.
Props to the waifu @veronicalunalu for installing the new lights we bought into our cases so I can actually get decent model shots now too.

So today is finally the day. I’ve been going on about this release on my YouTube channel for about 9 months now and as it finally became a reality, I was getting nervous it might turn out to be a trainwreck. Thankfully when I got all of the leaked info last week my concerns were put to bed. It’s very, very nicely done.
I wanted to get more content out covering it but honestly, there’s so much to work with I feel like I’m back at the start trying to figure out the best ways to capitalise on the new opportunities this codex offers up. Every other 40k channel has already jumped on the hot flavour of the month bandwagon….it’s anybodies guess how the faction will evolve over the next month or so now it’s in the spotlight.
