#wedding gown remake

WE RECYCLED A WEDDING DRESS

…into a wedding dress. For a CORPSE BRIDE. A child bride, which is disturbing, as my 6th grader pointed out, hashtag badmommy. Anyway, we had our first Remakeathon last week, and the brilliant Ricky Becker of the aptly named Spooky Boutique brought a spare gown then attacked it with a spray bottle of brown dye, scissors and thread and acrylic paint. If I fit into it and hadn’t got married 13 years ago, I’d totally wear this on the big day. But instead, daughter gets to wear it on her big day: Friday. (And the school dance last weekend).
