#what were you thinking
Hello boys and girls,
I’m off in Belgium at the moment, roaming the streets with the kind of energy and predatory instinct found only in those who really really want to buy some chocolate because when you’re in Belgium you buy chocolate and that’s just what you do.
While I’ve been here, though, something rather wonderful has happened. I’ve crept over the two thousand follower mark, and, unlike when I hit the first thousand, I’ve actually got a fairly good chance of getting the story out on time.
First of all, thank you all so much. It’s been just over six months since I started My Trousers Rolled, and to have it get to quite this many people quite so fast isn’t something I ever thought was even remotely possible. You’re all great. Especially you.
I’ve got some plans in the works, and some of you have been incredibly helpful with recommending pieces from the past months that particularly resonated with you. I don’t know when they’ll come to fruition, but do know that I don’t plan to stay confined to just the Tumblr for long. In fact I’ve already broken free a little, with the Twitter account, although I’ve not quite found enough of a rhythm with that just yet. It’ll come.
So yes. Thank you all for sticking around, and putting up with the mess of words and thoughts that somehow manage to find their way onto my page night after night, and here’s to another six months of such, and another few thousand people thinking it’s worth some time.
