#whats with the john angst today
okay but when lestrade asks john how he’s doing in MHR and john answers “yeah, good. yeah. much better.” i just think of john-emotions-are-weakness-watson and wonder how incredibly badly he must have been doing for him to admit that he’s doing “much better,” as opposed to “fine. i’m fine.” like what must he have been like for lestrade to actually ask him that and for john to actually acknowledge it.
