u know… how can Ursa be a goodmother if she failed so spectacularly to guide Azula on the right path? Isn’t that like the very definition of what a parent is supposed to be and do?
Ursa lost any and all access to her daughter when Azula was eight, and before that was co-parenting with an abusive monster who had all the power in the relationship. And after Ursa lost all contact with her daughter, that abusive monster got to be the sole parent. And Ursa got no choice in any of this.
