DRAW A CIRCLE (There’s the world): A Hetalia Fanzine is a surreal black-and-white illustration zine depicting some of the weird yet iconic elements of the Hetalia manga and anime. It seeks to take some of the sillier elements we all remember fondly and present them in a mysterious, conceptual, semi-somber way while also maintaining the whimsical spirit of the original.

This new compiled version is 38 pages, and includes both old and new artwork from 2018 to 2020, including various illustrations, 2 short comics (”Paint it White” and “Dust to Dust”) some written commentary, as well a Petrarchan sonnet.
I’m really glad to have finally gotten around to completing this project ever since I originally set out to do a Hetalia illustration zine back in 2018! I’m a lot more satisfied with this version and I hope that you can all enjoy as well.
