Werewolves and Vampires; Why we can’t be friends
Werewolf
Wolves are warm and furry
Loyal to their pack
I think that’s what led me to the wolf as a spirit animal
A guardian, a guide, or just even an idea of how to be as a person
I can run as a lone wolf if need be but I am stronger with a pack
It took time to find the people who wanted to run with me
Some friends fade in and out, but now I’m trying to collect them together
At least the ones who want to be here
My group chat is my wolf den where we all cuddle up to keep each other warm
I like wolves
Not all of my friends are wolves, but all of them want to be in my wolf pack so I let them
I think if I’m a werewolf, biting them to mark them as part of my pack makes them part wolf too
Vampires
Vampires are ice and cold
Drawn to warm blood
They want what is life and warm and blood
They want living things to die and be cold like them
Or, maybe they don’t want it.. but they NEED it…
That’s how they survive
Taking the warmth from warm things
But the vampires stay cold and just drain warmth
I am warmth, I am love, I am a wolf
I want friends. I have friends. I make friends. I make warmth. I make love.
I don’t like vampires. I don’t like blood suckers.
I don’t like energy drains
I don’t like people who take my warmth without wanting to give me any warmth back
The ones who want love from me but don’t want to give me love back.
The ones who are fine with that, who want me to give my love and they just take it and want more
That is an energy drain, and maybe that is a waste of energy
Vampires like draining the love and warmth of werewolves
That’s why werewolves don’t like vampires
And that’s why werewolves and vampires can’t be friends
They’re better off as strangers
