Hey everybody ♥ NEW PFP TIME and a little personal update! ♥
June has been a hard and busy month for me, as many of you noticed I had barely even posted or completed new pieces this month. I had difficulties to deal with both in my personal life and my dayjob that consumed most of my energy and the tropical heat waves hitting the area where I live didn’t help either. After feeling seriously exhausted both mentally and physically, I decided to take a much needed break from social media in the past week. I have some constant mental issues to deal with - the classic tame your demons situation, which is something that I now feel totally comfortable with talking about so hit me with a DM if you have similar issues and just want to talk to someone btw ♥ sooo recently I noticed that once again I have started to obsess on numbers and external validation once again, which is a very bad thing for my creativity in general, so I kinda had to hit the reset button again. This frustration about numbers and sales and money(which obv I need to survive this reality) caused me to fall into a weird pit of artblock where I actually have a lot of ideas but i just couldn’t work on any of them beyond like a few minutes before feeling totally useless or seeing my art as garbage, and no matter how much I wanted to make progress on my book too it had the opposite result and I literally halted my own progress with stressing too much about it… So lessons learned everyone, take it seriously, but not TOOO seriously!
BUT with this little break I had the chance to do some research of my own and think about a lot of things regarding my art and my business as an artists, so now I will come back with a brand new posting strategy and hopefully much more frequent content for you all ♥
Thank you for all the support during this little hiatus and I’m so happy to see you all staying with me still ♥

Maybe I will get some writing done also, because I’m having a real pain in the ass artblock regarding drawing…I have many different methods to battle artblock, but this time my anxiety is kicking my ass as the artbooks should have arrived this week but still no news(COVID restrictions fucking up everything again just in the perfect moment) - it’s killing me!

Little monochrome WIP teaser of my latest commissioned character art piece that I worked on for one of my dear Patrons, Thomas ♥ You loved the lineart so much last time, I hope you like this before-coloring version too!
The character is Sumunelda and she is the original character of the commissioner for a pen and paper rpg The Dark Eye ♥ Her likeness was based on model Victoria Bronova.
